Embrace Spring Early: Join Flower Bulb Day in San Francisco!

Springtime in San Francisco just got a whole lot brighter! Get ready to immerse yourself in a vibrant sea of colors as Flower Bulb Day makes its much-anticipated return to Union Square on March 9th, 2024. With over 80,000 tulips adorning the square, this event promises to be a feast for the senses and a celebration of nature’s beauty.

What better way to kick off the season of renewal than by picking your own bunch of tulips? That’s right – you’re invited to hand-select your favorites from the stunning array of blooms on display. And the best part? It’s absolutely free! Each person can gather up to six tulips to take home, ensuring that households across America will be graced with a touch of early spring magic.

The festivities kick off at 1:00 p.m., giving you plenty of time to revel in the beauty of the tulip garden. But don’t wait too long – the garden will close its gates at 4:30 p.m., by which time all 80,000 tulips are expected to find new homes. It’s a race against time to capture the essence of spring, so make sure you arrive early to make the most of this enchanting event.

As if the allure of tulips wasn’t enough, Flower Bulb Day coincides with International Women’s Day, adding an extra layer of significance to the occasion. What better way to honor the women in your life than with a bouquet of fresh, colorful tulips?

While admission to the garden is free, we anticipate a large turnout, so we recommend utilizing public transportation to reach Union Square. Let’s come together as a community to celebrate the beauty of nature and embrace the spirit of spring.

So mark your calendars, gather your friends and family, and join us for Flower Bulb Day in San Francisco. Let’s paint the town red, yellow, pink, and every color of the rainbow with the joy of tulips!
